  History
Todd's Jewelers in Parma Heights, Ohio is a 3rd generation store with long ties to the Cleveland area. Todd is following in the footsteps and knowledge of his grandfather and father, yet bringing his own unique skills, expertise, and strong desire for happy and satisfied customers.

His grandfather learned the trade of watchmaker in Poland, and then immigrated to the United States in the early 1930's where he married and started a family. An honest and personal businessman, customers soon came to know him as a skilled craftsman who sincerely cared about their needs. In the 1940's he went on the road, often meeting customers in their offices and even his home. Wedding sets were a high priority with young couples and he would often take the groom into the dining room to look at diamonds, while his wife discussed the upcoming wedding with the bride in the living room. When he died at a young age his wife took over the business. Some of their customers, their children, and their children's children are customers of the current Todd's Jewelers.

Todd's father, the oldest of 3 boys, went to work at 18 and learned the trade of repairing and polishing jewelry, as well as the art of fine jewelry design and manufacturing. As he moved farther up the ladder he learned a great deal about gemstones and became a skilled salesman always putting the customers' needs first. He was very interested in estate jewelry and found sources throughout the world. He ended up running one of the largest estate jewelry stores in the Midwest.

By the time Todd was a young teenager he started working in the family store doing a little paperwork and watching fine European trained craftsmen repair jewelry and set stones. He continued to work and observe at the store during high school and college, developing his lifelong love of gemstones, diamonds, and estate jewelry.

Along with his love of gemstones and designing their settings, he realized early that he wanted to develop strong customer relationships and provide good service. He continued to broaden his knowledge with classes from the Gemological Institute of America in Loose Diamonds and Estate Jewelry, as well as studying extensively on rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and diamonds.

He spent 15 years running a successful business in Parmatown, and then opened his current location in Parma Heights to the delight of his loyal customer following.

As an owner with low overhead he has the flexibility to design individual and specialized items. Continuing in the family tradition, Todd continues to maintain relations with the same trade's people his grandfather first dealt with in the 40s. Today Todd's Jewelers imports diamonds from Belgium from the grandson of the man his grandfather worked with.

He is very interested in estate jewelry, designs and repairs with diamonds and gemstones of all kinds. He specializes in repairs on antique pocket watches, but also has access to many others, including Seiko, and many fine Swiss Watches such as Concord, Breitling, and Omega.
